pm-software-online.com gives detailed information on what to expect from a project management software. It also explains what features to look for in softwares and helps to choose software which will fit users needs and minimizes chances of making wrong decisions based on buying project management software.
At the end of each explanation to website also gives links to established project management software providers. These softwares are researched by us and then suggested to readers.

How did you come up with the idea to start this business?
When I was looking for project management software, I could not find any detailed information provider on this topic. Therefore I thought of starting in this area.

Had you toyed with the idea for long before you decided to act upon it?
Yes, I wanted to do this from long time.

What are the most important or unique features of your business?
My website explains and gives appropriate choices of softwares to readers. It is not only a listing of providers, it explains what to look for and then choose.

Who does your business target?
The target audience is the users who are searching for project management software, whether to be implemented in full or part.

What is your competitive edge?
My website is not only content provider, or not only listing provider. It is a mix of both, we know what we suggest to our users.

How do you generate income?
Google Adsense, Referrals, eBooks, etc.

How many hours were you putting into your business when you started? Do you work less hours now?
At the start I

was putting in near 3-4 hours per day. Now it has reduced to around 1 hour per day.

What is the best advice you never got?
Be focused and get to work, don’t think too much about how’s & what’s. Some what we can think at the start, but as progress, things take their own shape.

What is the one thing that you did right?
Starting and getting on the job quickly.

How big do you plan to grow your business?
To at least turnover of $100,000 in the next 2-3 years.

How does it feel to own a successful online business?
Sure efforts pay off and the returns are valued more, because after a while, we don’t do things actively to generate revenue. Website does it own its own.

In your opinion, can your type of business be applied in other parts of the world other than your locality?
Yes, very much.

Was it very costly to start your business?
Around 2500$ in total, I think.

Did you ever forego something very important in order to see your business succeed?
No.

Who or what has been the driving force that keeps you going?
Motivation is “to help other find the perfect match of software they are looking for”

Have there been other people who contributed to your success?
Yes, Lot of SBI’ers. And their valuable suggestions.

Is this your first business or you have ever operated another business before?
Yes, I have managed others as well.

If you were to start all over again, would you approach your business differently?
Probably it would be faster than this to finish.
