I had an interview with an online entrepreneur who is thinking outside the box with regards to gifts business. Here is the interview.

Hello Debra, welcome to million small business ideas. Tell us what you do.

Hi Jasan thanks for the invite to tell you a bit of my business. It's called photogiftsmovieswebsolutions. I do personalized edited gifts, promote Site Sell Services, Sbitube and do some affiliate marketing.

In just a few sentences, what problem does your business solve?

No more scattered photos, lost memories, photos on cell or pc can be emailed,
Job creation, solutions and business ideas

How did you come up with the idea to start this business?

I used to create for family and friends

Had you toyed with the idea for long before you decided to act upon it?

Yes I was. I first had to be crushed down to the ground and fight for survival.

What are the most important or unique features of your business?

Personalized Edited Photo Movies and Information on how to become Self Empowered

Who does your business target?

People browsing for gifts; information and jobs

What is your competitive edge?

Clients can mail the photos straight to me from wherever they are on their cell phones, from their computers after downloads or scanning

How do you generate income?

Photo cardies movie gifts

Have you faced any challenges and how did you overcome them to get your business off the ground?

Firstly and foremost I had no money to even consider starting a business. I sold some of the stuff I had left.

How many hours were you putting into your business when you started? Do you work less hours now?

In the beginning I worked twenty four hours now I can choose whenever I want to work although doing photo movies is more of a seven hour input per day.

What is the best advice you never got?

That it takes real hardwork to build a business don't run for the quick get

What is the one thing that you did right?

Created my own business and running it solely by myself.

How big do you plan to grow your business?

Lifetime income, financial independence and security

How does it feel to own a successful online business?

Much Pride and Joy

Where do you spend your time when not running your business?

With my children husband on vacation, shopping, sightseeing.

In your opinion, can your type of business be applied in other parts of the world other than your locality?

Yes internationally too in any country from any computer

Was it very costly to start your business?

Yes in the beginning there was no income. The few pennies I spent were already too much but today I don't regret a single penny.

Did you ever forego something very important in order to see your business succeed?

Yes. My video camera.

Who or what has been the driving force that keeps you going?

My husband, children and the greatest wish to be financially stable strong.

Have there been other people who contributed to your success?

My husband with his undying support when I wanted to give up many times in the beginning when I started and lastly but not least my clients.

Is this your first business or you have ever operated another business before?

It's not the first business I operated but it is my first business that is mine.

If you were to start all over again, would you approach your business differently?

Well I don't think so but there is a lot you learn when you start a business if you want a lasting one.

What can you tell other potential social entrepreneurs who are deciding to make a difference?

Persist even though sometimes it might seem tough, dark and hopeless. Persistence wins.
